USA, South Dakota: Enhanced Geothermal Systems Collab Project Focuses on Hydraulic Shearing Research - The EGS Collab has used the underground drifts of Sanford Lab as a research and development testbed since 2015. The SIGMA-V experiment has probed the Poorman rock formation on the 4850 Level for years, collecting immense amounts of data. Now, the EGS Collab is moving their equipment to the 4100 Level, where the rock is slightly different.

New Zealand: Geothermal Power Plant Begins to Supply Heat for Wood Pellet Production - "We are now receiving 18MW of heat continuously, which is fuelled by a low carbon renewable source,” says John Goodwin, Nature’s Flame Operations Manager.

Philippines: Mount Apo Geothermal Power Plants Back Online After Earthquake - EDC's Mount Apo Geothermal Power Plants are now back online, with its 54.24 MW M2 power plant successfully synchronized to the grid on November 12 and its 54.24 MW M1 power plant’s return to service today.
