Aragorn Power and Energy Corp., a unit of listed APC Group Inc., and partners are ready to explore and drill for the proposed 120-megawatt Kalinga geothermal power project in Pasil, Kalinga province.
APC, in a report to the Philippine Stock Exchange, said Apec had already completed sub-phases 1 and 2 covering the geochemical and geophysical surveys for the $300-million geothermal project.
It said Apec was in the sub-phase 3 stage of the project, and had already secured a certificate of non-coverage from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for access on roads construction, improvement of existing roads and drilling of well-pads.
