Have we now run out of excuses for not developing our geothermal resources?

As the UK’s hydrocarbon resources decline, geothermal energy presents as part of the solution to fill the energy void. Conveniently, there is considerable overlap in the technical skill-sets required to develop, execute and operate a geothermal project and that of an oil or gas development, and opportunity exists for both industries to draw from a shared knowledge base.
