Indonesia: 15 MW First Phase of Sorik Marapi Geothermal Energy Project Now Producing Power - Sorik Marapi is now producing power from the first phase to the grid in Indonesia only 19 months after spud in of the first well.

Australia: Birdsville Geothermal Power Plant Not to be Upgraded - Plans to replace what was Australia’s only utility-owned and operated geothermal power station in Birdsville – a small town at the end of the eponymous Birdsville Track, in central west Queensland – have been dumped in favour of a switch to distributed solar and storage.
Hungary: Chinese Company to Build 40 MW Geothermal Power Plant - The 40 MW power plant will supply heat to farms and residential buildings as well as generate electricity. Zhejiang Kaishan Compressorʼs geothermal business will also set up a base in Budapest.
