Jasper County Commissioners Consider Geothermal System (Four States Homepage)
CARTHAGE, MO.---- The Jasper County commissioners have hired a Saint Louis firm to investigate the pro's and con's of switching to a geothermal system. Control Technology Solutions will contrast that with the cost of upgrading to more traditional heating and cooling. Last January, Jasper County bought property on the southeast corner of the courthouse square as a potential site for geothermal wells.
