Patua Project Supplies Power to the Grid

The website of Gradient Resources has announced that the initial phase of the Patua Geothermal Project, located near Fernley, NV has achieved commercial operations.

According to Gradient, the 30 MWe Patua Project initial phase is expected to power 15,000 homes annually.

Gradient has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) to supply the 30 MWe to homes and businesses in the capital of California.
