GRC Announces Extension of Scholarship Program

The President of the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) Louis E. Capuano, Jr. announced yesterday that the GRC Scholarships to students in the geothermal energy field will be extended.

The award will be $15,000 a year to qualified candidates.

Lou Capuano made the announcement at the Opening Session of the GRC Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also announced that the pre-meeting Annual Charity Golf Tournament had raised almost $10,000 for the local chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The GRC Annual Meeting & GEA Expo runs until Wednesday.
