The Vikings & Geothermal Iceland

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has made available the latest GRC Bulletin, the voice of the global geothermal energy industry, published continuously since 1972. For over 47 years this magazine has provided the essential news and information for the international geothermal community.

The Bulletin is free with GRC Membership or subscribe (PDF) to six issues a year for $120.

The GRC has generously provided 10 pages from the latest issue for free! However, the full issue is 62 pages and available to download for GRC Members only.

This brand new article looks at why and when did the Vikings come to Iceland—the land of fumaroles, geysers, thermal waters, and volcanic eruptions. And what happened next? It’s quite a story. This is our gift for anyone going to the World Geothermal Congress 2020 in Reykjav√≠k. Enjoy!

The GRC Bulletin is only available online to GRC members. To make sure of your copy join the GRC today!
