This 1.5 day workshop will be held at the University of Waterloo and will explore current activity in all geothermal technologies including high temperature steam-based systems, hot sedimentary fluids systems, enhanced geothermal systems in low permeability igneous and sedimentary rocks, and shallow, ground-source heat pump geothermal systems. These may be co-generation systems (e.g heat use as well as power generation), coupled with other energy systems (heat storage from other sources), and novel applications or projects.
