Meeting of the SoCal Section of the Geothermal Resources Council
14 November, 3pm, Stockmen’s Club, Brawley, Imperial County, California
Our highlighted presentation will be from Charlene Wardlow, the Geothermal Program Manager and District Deputy for the CA Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR), who will recount her experience, including images and video, during the 2018 Hawaiian volcanic eruption when she participated in a joint task force and was onsite while lava overran a portion of the Puna Geothermal Venture wellfield and facility.
There, of course, will be some snacks on offer and the bar is adjacent to the meeting room, so there are no excuses. We have yet to confirm a sponsor for this meeting, if you or your company is interested, please contact Section President Jon Trujillo (Jon.Trujillo@calenergy.com) or me ASAP. We will send out an agenda and confirmation of our meeting sponsor prior to the meeting.
Another topic of discussion is the establishment of a leadership team for the SoCal Section and next year’s calendar of meetings and other events.
Please RSVP to mary@geothermalresourcegroup.com. If you don’t get a chance to confirm, don’t worry, we’ll let you in. There is no charge to attend the meeting.
We encourage you to join the GRC!
