Use of Geothermal Energy to be Studied by Dubai (Industry Reporter)

Dubai aims to begin manufacturing electricity from heat energy – its latest move during a strategy to get a minimum of 25 % of power from renewable sources by 2030.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is requesting proposals for an early-stage feasibility study on heat energy and its use in domestic power generation, particularly for water desalination, The National reported on Monday.
