At the end of 2019, the current director Lúðvík Georgsson, is leaving his position as per the Government law for retirement age. Orkustofnun (the National Energy Authority of Iceland) is therefore advertising the position of a new Director of the Geothermal Training Programme of the United Nations University (UNU-GTP), open for application.A special committee will evaluate the applicants according to a qualification scheme.
A written application, along with attachments should be sent to Orkustofnun, Grensásvegi 9, 108 Reykjavík, or at ods@os.is, no later than 2nd September 2019.
