Mexican state power utility Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) has launched a second call to drill two wells at the Los Azufres geothermal field in the state of Michoacán to increase steam supply to generation units following a decline in steam output.
The tender CFE-0036-CACON-0003-2019 had been first launched in April, but the CFE has issued a new call with a June 12 deadline for technical offers. If technical offers are approved, economic bids are due on June 18. This tender will also be carried out online.
