Ex-EPA adviser picked for top renewables job (E&E News)
Dave Solan, a former professor and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) adviser, has been tapped to serve as the
Energy Department's deputy assistant secretary for renewable power, according to an internal agency memo.
Solan will join DOE's Office of
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy on Monday, replacing Steve Chalk, a longtime agency official who is retiring at the end of the month.
