Geothermal  is a point of difference for Mercury, and we are constantly striving to keep the five geothermal plants we operate running reliably and efficiently. As part of this we drill make-up wells at our plants from time to time to maintain reliable geothermal fuel supply so our customers can enjoy using sustainable renewable energy. We have 5 geothermal generation stations through the central North Island.

We invite interested candidates to apply for this senior role with a wide range of responsibilities. As Field Manager you will have full responsibility for the performance of one of our 5 stations, each of which are large enough to be listed on the stock exchange in their own right. You will find the job challenging and dynamic, and as a key member of the Geothermal and Safety lead team you will not only be thinking about the operation of your own power plant and steam field, but the long term sustainable growth of the enterprise. You will report directly to the GM Geothermal and Safety and will be based in the Taupo / Rotorua region.
