China Machinery Engineering Co (CMEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, signed an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract for the Kenya Menengai 35 MW geothermal power project with Sosian Menengai Geothermal Power Ltd (SMGP), in Beijing on June 9.
It is the first geothermal power project that CMEC has taken on, and it is expected to help the company expand its business in this field.
