| Türkerler Alaşehir Geothermal Power Plant Project |
The seventh ICCI Energy Awards, recognizing Turkey's best leading energy producing companies, was held at Istanbul WOW Convention Center on May 2, 2018.
Türkerler Holding was awarded first place in the Geothermal category for the Türkerler Alaşehir Geothermal Power Plant Project, in Manisa province in the Aegean Region of western Turkey.
According to the Türkerler Holding website, the Alaşehir Geothermal Power Plant has an installed power of 48 MW. The binary type geothermal energy power plant will be fed by 8 wells including 3 production, 3 injection, 1 reserve production and 1 reserve injection well.
In the category of Electricity Distribution, Vedas Vangölü Electricity Distribution Company, an affiliate of Türkerler Holding, was awarded the Jury Special Award for its successful social responsibility projects.
