Turkey: 295°C Bottom Temperature at 3,816 Meters Recorded at Bozköy Geothermal Project

Hottest geothermal well in Turkey reported with 295 centigrades (ThinkGeoEnergy)

Reported this week from Turkey,  3S Kale Energy Production Company has announced a record bottom temperature of 295 degrees Celsius at  a depth of 3,816 meters in Cappadocia. This is the hottest geothermal well ever drilled in Turkey.

The well was drilled on the Bozköy geothermal license within the borders of the provinces of Aksaray and Nigde.
