PhD position in geophysical monitoring of fractured rock for geothermal reservoirs (Geoscience Jobs)
Exploration and Environmental Geophysics (EEG) group at ETH Zurich
The position is within the area of monitoring fractured rock using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) techniques. Both single-hole reflection imaging and crosswell GPR fullwaveform inversion will be developed to characterize fractures in crystalline rock using saline tracers. The project includes theoretical and computational developments, as well as field experiments.
