Climate Change: Historic 1st Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change

7-18 November, 2016, Marrakech, Morocco

The agenda for the historic 1st meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA1), will include: the strengthening of national climate action roadmaps or “Nationally Determined Contributions” (NDCs) to lower greenhouse gas emissions, reaching a US $100 billion climate finance roadmap, and improving capacity building measures and transfer of technology to help the most vulnerable countries (Small Island Developing States, Least Developed Countries, African countries) adapt to the impacts of climate change.
