Projects must address the following:
- Improving the cost-effectiveness and operational flexibility of geothermal energy production.
- Develop new and advanced technologies, strategies, and tools that improve the cost-effectiveness and operational flexibility of geothermal energy production, extending the operating life of existing and new geothermal energy generation facilities.
