Turboden, a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries company, has set up its Turkish arm in Ankara and completed the construction of its first Turkish-made turbine.
Turboden Turkey ORC Turbo Jeneratör Sanayi Anonim Sirketi delivered the 3 MW unit to Afjet on 24 November and will be installed in parallel with a 100 MW geothermal district heating project.
The plant will be fully operational by the end of second quarter 2016, generating electric power from a low enthalpy geothermal source.
