Decision on Leyte Geothermal sale due by October (BusinessWorld)
The Philippines Power Sector Assets Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) will soon decide on the next move for the sale of the Unified Leyte Geothermal Power Plant’s (ULGPP) remaining contracted capacity after the failure of an auction earlier this month.
“We may have one meeting towards end of this month or early next month,” PSALM President Lourdes S. Alzona said in a text message when asked on the plans on the asset.
