Teranov and the Government of St Kitts join forces for the development of geothermal energy (New Energy Events)
The Government of St Kitts-Nevis and french company Teranov have announced they will join efforts to establish a public-private partnership, with the ultimate goal to generate electricity via a geothermal power plant. A Memorandum of Understanding, committing the two parties and governing the terms of this collaboration, has now been signed.
This project is a direct result of the energy policy defined by the Government of St Kitts-Nevis and the green growth objectives promoted by Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the regional level. The endeavor will help to develop renewable energy, to decrease dependency on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions within the region.
Teranov is a French engineering and services company for new and renewable energy, dedicated towards high enthalpy geothermal energy development in Latin America and The Caribbean Region. Offices are located in Guadeloupe (Caribbean) and in Colombia (Latin America).
