10am – 5pm, Thursday, 17 September 2015, Eden Project, Cornwall, UK
Come and find out more about geothermal energy, the ‘Cinderella’ of renewable resources, during Community Energy Fortnight.
In partnership with Cornwall-based EGS Energy, the Eden Project has planning permission for a 3-4 MW geothermal power plant on the Eden Project site, taking energy from the heat in underground granite rocks.
You’ll get to hear from those working in the industry, hear more about our plans, and understand just how geothermal energy could provide up to 20% of the UK's current electricity demand, and a vast amount of heating.
Book your place on the event through Community Energy Fortnight.
