Geothermal Project in Haute-Sorne Approved (News Release)

An important milestone for the energy transition and Geo-Energie Suisse

Geo-Energie Suisse AG has received green light from the cantonal government of Jura for its deep geothermal pilot project in the commune of Haute-Sorne. This important decision puts the vision of a future production of base-load energy from terrestrial heat within reach.

Today the authorities and Geo-Energie Suisse are presenting key data of the project during a joint press conference.
