EDC Trains Youth at Geothermal Summer Camp (Negros Chronicle)

Forty-seven bright high school students just finished a week of fun learning in the Energy Development Corporation’s (EDC) Energy Camp in Valencia, Negros Oriental.

Through the E-camp, which ran from April 30 to May 6, these campers composed of scholars from EDC’s host communities in Valencia, Negros Oriental and from Bago City and Murcia in Negros Occidental, and children of EDC employees learned why renewable energy such as geothermal is the best power option and why they are fortunate to have an abundant source of it in their own province.
