New Tender Offered for Domuyo Geothermal Exploration (RioNegro.com.ar)

The Agencia para la Promoción y Desarrollo de Inversiones del Neuquén Sociedad del Estado Provincial (ADI-NQN S.E.P.) (Neuquen Investment Development Agency) is again calling for investors interested in submitting proposals to be awarded an exploration contract to discover and produce geothermal energy on ADI-NQN´s property in Neuquén province, located in the west of Argentina, at the northern end of Patagonia.

The new studies will include geological, geophysical and geochemical surface services to evaluate geothermal resources of the Maitena and Maria Victoria mines in Nuequén province.

A previous public call for investors in October 2012 had no takers for the high risk involved in exploration. This time, the studies hope to seek lower risks and improve conditions for the exploitation of the resource.

The opening of tenders will take place on May 29, at 11am, apartment B, 3rd floor, of 424 de la calle Alsina, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
