Fuji Electric Wins Geothermal Power Equipment Contracts in Indonesia and Iceland (Yahoo! Finance)
Manufacturer to Supply Steam Turbines to PT Pertamina and Theistareykir Geothermal Power Plant
Fuji Electric announced that they have been selected as the supplier of geothermal power equipment for two major projects in Indonesia and Iceland. The power electronics manufacturer will supply two units of geothermal steam turbines and generators—each with a power generation capacity of 20 MW—to
PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, a subsidiary of Indonesia's oil, gas, renewable and new energy company PT Pertamina. The production is to be completed by the end of year 2016.
In the Republic of Iceland, Fuji Electric was awarded a contract for a power generating unit for the
Theistareykir Geothermal Power Plant, slated to begin in October 2017.
