Soufriere Residents Embrace Geothermal Exploration (HTS St Lucia)
Saint Lucia will begin geothermal exploration in January 2015. Representatives of the Ministry Of Sustainable Development and Energy are hoping this will lessen the country’s dependence on oil and diesel. The geothermal development will take place in the town of Soufriere where residents are welcoming the news.
