Video: Geothermal Energy in Iran (SUNA)
On December 24, this website reported that the project to develop geothermal resources at Meshkinshahr in northern Iran had drilled 15 wells into 240˚C reservoirs suggesting the potential capacity is 250 MW.
Iran Renewable Energy Organization (SUNA) is the state agency responsible for the ongoing exploration.
