Atlas Copco Organic Rankine Cycle Power Plants
The Atlas Copco Gas and Process Division provides a full range of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) solutions for geothermal and waste heat to power applications. Our radial in-flow turbines, or turboexpanders, form the basis of Organic Rankine Cycle solutions. Employing highly efficient integral gear technology and Variable Inlet Guide Vanes (IGVs), the turboexpanders deliver continuous, reliable power production. We provide customer-specific, clean energy solutions around the globe. One of our flagship projects (as shown in this video) is a geothermal power plant in Pamukören, Turkey, which has an electrical capacity of 45 MW and can meet the energy needs of at least 40,000 people.
