RFP: Economic Viability of Geothermal Resources in British Columbia (Geoscience BC)

Geoscience BC has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a study of the Economic Viability of Geothermal Resources in British Columbia. 


The objective of this study will be to ultimately deliver an assessment of the economic viability of geothermal energy in the Province of British Columbia for electrical power generation. The electrical power generation component will initially review sites previously studied, the Clarke Lake Gas Field, and areas identified through Provincial referrals for geothermal energy. A Geothermal Development Decision Matrix will then be completed for each of the 18 sites.
