Barry Goldstein is a long-term GRC Member and served on the GRC Board of Directors. He is the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the World Geothermal Congress to be held in Melbourne in 2015.

In January 2014 Barry Goldstein was presented with an Order of Australia medal for his outstanding public services to the South Australian energy and resources sector.

The Australian Pipeliner spoke with Mr Goldstein about his journey from working in remote corners of the globe as a geologist, to working as the Executive Director of South Australia’s Department of Manufacturing, Innovation Trade, Resources and Energy.
