The Indonesia government has set the floor for geothermal power tariff at $11.8 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) and the ceiling at $29.6 cents per kWh.
Rida Mulyana, Director General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, said the government has revised the geothermal power tariff from below $9 cents/kWh to $11.8 cents-$29.6 cents per kWh with Commercial Operation Date (COD) planned for 2015-2025.
