Geothermal Exploration Engineer Position - The Dewhurst Group
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating exploration projects, and overseeing and providing engineering support for field Operations
- Identifying, designing, and implementing technical improvements to geophysical data acquisition and equipment
- Monitoring for and troubleshooting equipment failures and conducting or directing repairs and calibration
- Perform design, construction and testing of new geophysical data acquisition equipment
- Survey crew training
- Coordinating with Dewhurst Group and their Russian scientific staff
- Data management and analysis
- Technical writing and submittal preparation
- Quality assurance management and documentation
- Project management
- Market development and client primary contact
Your position will include managing and supporting office and field operations for geophysical survey operations throughout the world. Your responsibilities will include learning, facilitating and subsequent training and directing of staff on the following:
- Data acquisition procedures
- Equipment maintenance
- Calibration tests
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geophysics.
- Minimum 4 years of Geothermal Experience
- Minimum 8 years work experience in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Vega and Metronix magnetotelluric geophysical equipment.
- Geothermal Exploration Engineer, Bachelors Degree and 4 Years Geothermal Industry Experience
