Geothermal Power Plant at Oregon Institute of Technology (Sustainable Today)




Oregon Institute of Technology Klamath Falls campus has installed the first geothermal electric power plant in the state. This visit to the 220 kw plant learns how it works, and takes a look at the educational programs that are developed out of the plant and other applications OIT enjoys due to its location near a geothermal water source.

After the GRC Annual Meeting & GEA Expo, September 28 - October 1, at the Oregon Convention Center, there will be a three day tour of the Klamath Falls area including the campus of the Oregon Institute of Technology.
