Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. has received orders for 2 units of it's
hot-well pump for Germencik geothermal power plant unit No.2 from
Gurmat Elektrik Uretim A.S., an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Turkey.
This plant is the largest geothermal power plant in the country with the capacity of 47.7 MWe, located in Izmir city in the west of Turkey.
Germencik geothermal power plant is scheduled to start its commercial operation in 2015.
