In recent years, the worldwide market for clean, renewable electricity has skyrocketed. Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) heat-to-power systems are part of this surge in clean electricity generation. Unlike the intermittent power production resulting from wind and solar photovoltaic plants, ORC systems can continuously produce renewable electricity day and night. Rather than using nuclear or fossil fuels, ORC systems are powered by industrial waste heat, geothermal, biomass, or other clean heat sources.
In this free Webinar, Keith D. Patch, Concepts NREC (CN)'s ORC Product Manager, will cover the basics of ORC technology and the application of ORC systems to various renewable heat sources and markets. He will also then discuss the broad applicability of CN's new patent-pending CN300 ORC System, which ranges from high-temperature industrial waste heat recovery to low-temperature binary geothermal sites.
