BGI Starts Geothermal Drilling on Biliran Island (Biliran Blogs)
After complying with all legal and governmental permits and requirements, Biliran Geothermal Incorporated (BGI) started drilling its first well this morning at around 6 o’clock for the initial 49 MW power project in Brgy. Cabibihan, Caibiran, Biliran in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.
On their timeline, a BGI Power Plant is expected to be commissioned on the last quarter of 2015 to the first quarter of 2016.
