Mt. Princeton Geothermal Presents Energy Plan (The Mountain Mail)

Mt. Princeton Geothermal LLC officials Fred Henderson III, chief scientist, and John “Hank” Held, CEO, presented their plan to bring geothermal energy to Chaffee County Friday, at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort.
They have obtained exploratory leases to 3,700 acres of state-owned land near Mount Princeton with the goal of locating geothermal water at temperatures between 275 and 325 degrees, which could be used to generate electricity.
