Vote for Geothermal Project of the Year (PennNet)

The editors of Power Engineering and Renewable Energy World magazines and their respective websites have announced 17 finalists for the annual Projects of the Year Awards program.

The Best Geothermal Project finalists are the Ngatamariki Geothermal Power Plant in Taupo, New Zealand, and the McGinness Hills Geothermal Power Plant in Lander County, Nev., both owned by Ormat Technologies Inc.

Voting has commenced for the final category: Readers’ Choice. Readers can cast their vote for their favorite project, selecting among the entire group of Project of the Year finalists. The voting page is here. Voting is open until October 1, 2013.

The winners of the Projects of the Year Awards will be announced on Monday, November 11, at the POWER-GEN International Conference and Exhibition and the co-located NUCLEAR POWER International Conference and Exhibition, Renewable Energy World Conference & Exhibition North America and the Financial Forum.
