Turboden Signs Contract for Construction of Traunreut Plant (Think GeoEnergy)
Turboden has signed on for a fourth geothermal power plant order for the Traunreut geothermal project in Bavaria, Germany. The company has already delivered three ORC plants expected to start operating this year.
With the work on the second well successfully finalized in April 2013, the project saw the start of construction of the heating plant in June. It is expected that the plant will be producing power as early as in mid-2015.
