Alterra Power Corp. announces that long time director Paul Sweeney retired as a director of the Company at its Annual General Meeting on May 14, 2013. Mr. Sweeney was replaced by John Carson, who has been the Company's CEO since September 2011 and brings extensive transactional and financial experience to the Board, including ten years in the renewable power industry.
