Geothermal Gets One-Year Reprieve In U.S. Fiscal Cliff Deal (SustainableBusiness.com)
The U.S. Congress went down to the wire on the "fiscal cliff" decision, and as part of the deal, clean energy got a one-year extension of the production tax credit, that applies to wind and geothermal projects.
Also extended are the Investment Tax Credits used for community projects.
All projects that start construction in 2013 will receive the credits, before the jockeying begins yet again.
