Pertamina and PLN Agree on Electricity Price from Geothermal (Indonesia Today)

Indonesian state oil and gas company PT Pertamina and state utility firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) have finally agreed on an electricity price from geothermal power plants owned by Pertamina, Detikfinance.com reported.

The agreement on price was facilitated by Dahlan Iskan, minister of state-owned enterprises (SoE). With this agreement, Pertamina could resume the construction of its nine geothermal power plants project. These projects have been long halted as Pertamina and PLN failed to reach deal on electricity price.
