British Embassy Organizes Awareness Creation Seminar on Geothermal Development (The British Embassy in Addis Ababa)

The UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) department of the British Embassy in Addis Ababa organized an awareness creation seminar on geothermal development from 8-10 January 2013 in Addis Ababa.

The seminar brought together officials from Ethiopia and Djibouti to discuss the technical and regulatory barriers to developing the East Africa’s region’s geothermal resource with a view to producing a set of recommendations for exploiting geothermal, applicable to all Rift Valley countries.
