WindMade Welcomes More Renewables as Eco-label Grows (Recharge)

The WindMade eco-label organisation has unveiled plans for a new “renewable energy made” consumer scheme during the COP18 climate talks in Doha.

The new label will recognize a variety of renewable energy sources, including wind, solar and geothermal, along with hydropower and biomass from approved certification schemes.

The expanded initiative will offer “added flexibility to companies that use multiple renewable energies in their energy mix,” WindMade says.
