PetroEnergy Resources Corp. (PERC) said on Tuesday it has successfully completed the well requirements for the 20 MWe Maibarara geothermal power project in Santo Tomas, Batangas.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, PERC said Maibarara Geothermal Inc. (MGI)—the corporate vehicle for the Maibarara geothermal power project—completed the well requirements on Monday.
PERC said the civil and structural engineering work for the steam-field’s fluid gathering system is 90-percent complete, which brings the total steam-field construction accomplishment to 49 percent.
PERC said the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the power plant being undertaken by EEI Corp. has reached 50-percent completion.
