Jomo Kenyatta University Students Visit Olkaria II Geothermal Power Plant (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology)

On 31st July 2012 the 5th year Mechanical Engineering students at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology visited Olkaria II power plant which generates about 105MWe with 3 turbines of 35MWe each. The visit was organized under the power plant engineering course which students undertake to understand the geothermal resource utilization and relate the theory to practice.
